Imagine feeling great and looking your best!
As a Personal Trainer and Physical Activity Public Health Specialist since 2004, I have enjoyed assisting teenagers, young adults, baby boomers and seniors to revitalize and maximize their health and to maintain a high level of movement and vitality.
My specialty is helping sedentary clients to re-build bone density, achieve a healthy weight, gain greater mobility and balance, and increase overall strength and endurance. I have also worked extensively with individuals recovering from joint replacements surgeries and shoulder, back, hip and knee injuries.
Using functional core training principles and interval training programs for each client’s unique goals. will enable an individual to alter their muscle/fat body composition ratio and to reshape their bodies.
We all want to continue doing what we love, whether it’s tennis, golf, running or just getting down on the floor (and then back up) to play with the grandkids! Your personal health and fitness goals are my top priority and it would be my pleasure to partner with you to develop your personalized program for optimal health! I am committed to empowering you to stay “Fit for Life!”

I am analytical and knowledgeable, as well as fun to work with. My education in sports medicine and exercise science has provided my past clients with a supportive and positive environment. I spent 7 years working with clients averaging 40 to 70 years of age helping them with their various health and injury issues. I have a strong commitment to purpose. I am always after the “why and how” of an issue. My specialties are injury prevention, post-rehab, strength training, and overall health. Whether you are dealing with an injury, wanting to get stronger, or just want to lose a few extra pounds, I will create an individualized workout tailored to meet your goals and needs.
My training philosophy emphasizes form, function, and the quality of movement. I see the human body like a fine sports car, where proper alignment and mechanics yield performance.
“There is nothing better than helping someone discover their full potential and watching them take off on a path they never thought was possible!.” – Marion Recktenwald Ph.D.
Whatever your age, fitness level or specific need, I have something to benefit you. Are you looking for a fitness assessment, or flexibility and strength conditioning specifically geared to improving your tennis, squash or golf game? Is it your goal to build strength, lean muscle mass and improve your overall functionality and quality of life at any age? Do you want to prevent illness and injuries or reduce pain?
I also offer approaches that take traditional training “up a notch.” Would you, for instance, be interested in enhancing your performance by also harnessing the power of your mind? How about myofacial release and flexibility training beyond the pure mechanical aspect of releasing muscle tightness, that include techniques for deep relaxation and increased overall wellness?
I am able to offer all of the above thanks to my broad background including a diverse set of knowledge and skills. I take the best of my training with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American Council of Exercise (ACE). I combine this knowledge with complementary and holistic approaches such as the NeuroKinetic Therapy (NKT) TM training, the C.H.E.K Institute’s approach to total body fitness, as well as relevant and beneficial modalities and techniques from diverse group fitness formats. Last but not least, whenever applicable, I incorporate valuable skills and practices acquired while in physical therapy for two years.
It is my passion to offer you safe, effective and personalized training at any age or fitness level–training that if so desired, will also help promote your overall wellness. It has worked for me; and it will also do so for you! I look forward to supporting you in an exhilarating and rewarding journey towards improved fitness and overall wellbeing at any age or fitness level!
