Deb has been with McLean Racquet since 2004, first as a water aerobics instructor and currently as a nationally certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Her experience includes working extensively with individuals with back pain, injury rehabilitation, bone loss and those who have been sedentary. Deb trains people of all ages and especially enjoys assisting the senior population to maintain a high level of movement and vitality.

Hello, I’m Mike Marrow and I have been with MRHC for 12 years and counting. I have been a part of the fitness world for about 16 years after working in the corporate sector for 12 years as a software consultant and sales Rep to the Federal Government. I can truly say my interest in Fitness grew quickly. I graduated James Madison University with a major in Business Management and minor in Physical Education. I have worked with several Gyms in the DC Metro area and enjoy what I do. My Philosophy is based on results which are obtained by proper warm ups and stretches, proper Form and technique, and the promoting of positive attitudes.

Karim has been a part of The McLean Racquet and Health Club’s team since April of 2007. During Karim’s first year, he consistently trained underneath a master trainer. Currently, he has been certified by the International Fitness Association, as well as possessing certifications for CPR, AED, EMT and First Aid.
Karim has experience with training all sorts of shapes and sizes of people, both old and young. Karim is extremely patient, kind, caring, and supportive towards all of his clients. He also enjoys working out himself, as well as outdoor activities such as mountain biking and hiking.
Steve has been an employee of the Mclean Racquet & Health Club since May of 2004. He is certified through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in Personal Training and since has completed courses in sports nutrition and exercise for older adults. He is also first aid/ CPR and AED certified.
Steve has worked in the Health and fitness field for over 10 years. He has trained a variety of individuals including professional athletes, corporate executives, working professionals and children of all ages. Among playing baseball in college, Steve has also taught youth basketball and was the pitching coach for his High School. His personal involvement in a variety of sports has given him particular insight with form and functional training, which he has successfully implemented in a variety of individuals.
In addition to personal training, Steve also teaches circuit training classes. He teaches Cross-train Challenge on Mondays at 6:30 pm and Wednesday at 5:30 pm. These classes provide members with a chance to experiment with Steve’s training style in a larger atmosphere. He is also highly involved in group training and has found it can be a different way for clients to enjoy their exercise time.

Lisa Priebe joined the Fitness Department of McLean Racquet and Health in May, 2011. She brings 15 years of experience in commercial, corporate and clinical fitness industry environments. Utilizing current and continuing education she provides superior service to a broad spectrum of populations. Lisa is nationally certified in both personal training and aquatics.

I am, originally from Lima, Peru and grew up in Miami, Fl. I then relocated to the Northern Virginia area. I have been a fitness instructor for over twenty years and I’ve competed in bodybuilding in the 90’s. My philosophy on personal training is focused on two things; the uniqueness of each individual and the positive health and fitness improvements of the individual’s total lifestyle. Every person is diverse. That is a very important factor in a personal trainer’s ability in getting the client to accomplish their optimal levels of success.
