Hello to all at McLean Racquet and Health Club. My name is Pat Crawford and I’m very excited about joining the massage therapy team at MRHC. The club’s amazing facilities provide an unsurpassed environment for its client’s fitness needs and I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible both in and out of the massage room.
Research has proven that massage has many physical and mental benefits, including … relieving muscle soreness, increasing flexibility, easing chronic pain, reducing tension headaches, boosting the immune system, promoting restful sleep, and improving concentration. I am certified in a wide range of massage modalities and take particular interest in treating the chronic aches and pains we all seem to develop over time. The ultimate reward for me is providing significant and lasting relief for my clients to help them enjoy fuller and more active lives.
Among my massage therapy services:
Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Chair, Sport, Pregnancy, AIS/PNF Stretching, Swedish, Deep Relaxation, and SRT.
SRT (Spinal Reflex Therapy) is a neuromuscular acupressure technique in which I have advance certification and have been practicing for five years. It’s a “safe, fast, non-invasive, and profoundly effective way to eliminate muscle and joint pain, increase freedom and ease of movement, and maximize physical performance in athletics and activities of daily living in all groups and ages.” (Spinal Reflex Institute Intl.) In my experience it has produced consistently excellent outcomes, providing measurable and repeatable benefits for my clients.
